ARSANet is pleased to announce the election of its Steering Committee, which will guide the Network’s activities over the next three years.
The Steering Committee is chaired by Dr. Eng. Chris Byaruhanga of Kyambogo University (Uganda), with Eng. Tesfahun Nigatu Wolie of Bahir Dar University (Ethiopia) serving as Secretary.
The Steering Committee also includes the following representatives:
- Dr. Ibraheem Forson Abdul-Azeez, FCILT – Lagos State University (Nigeria)
- Mohamud M. Hassan – Zamzam University of Science and Technology (Somalia)
- George Nkeng Elambo – National Advanced School of Public Works (Cameroon)
- Wiseman Nkosingiphile Nyembe – University of Eswatini (Eswatini)
ARSANet congratulates all members of the Steering Committee and wishes them a successful and inspiring mandate as they work together to advance road safety research and address key mobility challenges across Africa.
